Starting in early summer, construction will begin on our overhead to underground electric system conversion project. The following areas will be a part of this summer’s project:
3M Mainline Circuit: From 18th Ave E to 22nd Ave E and within the border from Jefferson to Nokomis Street. (see map).
West Circuit Mainline: From 3rd Ave W to 17th Ave W and within the border from Ash Street to Douglas Street. (see map).
The undergrounding that has taken place over the last several years continues to improve ALP’s proven reliability. Outages caused by squirrels and trees on lines have diminished considerably.
All customers affected will receive letters prior to construction beginning in your area.
