Water Rates
Residential Rates
Water billings consists of two components. One, for the actual water consumption and the other is a service charge based on the line size. Water rates are $2.20 per 1,000 gallons for the first 10,000 gallons and $2.30 per 1,000 gallons after the first 10,000 gallons. The most common line size for a residential home is a 3/4" line. The monthly charge is billed even if there is no water consumption at the residence.
The monthly service charge is as follows for 2013:
