You can pay your bill with a credit card. All credit card payments are made through the Official Payment Corporation. *There will be a $3.95 convenience fee per transaction.

To make an on-line credit card payment go to the Official Payment Corporation website, and then:

1. 1. Click on MAKE A PAYMENT located in the lower-middle area of your screen.
2. Next, click on LOCAL PAYMENT.
3. Select MINNESOTA as the State.
   *Your screen will then automatically refresh.
4. Select the payment entity, ALEXANDRIA LIGHT & POWER.
   *Your screen will then automatically refresh.
5. The Payment Type will automatically select RESIDENTIAL UTILITY PAYMENT.
6. Click on CONTINUE.
7. Follow the proceeding payment information.

Before you conclude your transaction, you will be given the total amount of your transaction and your confirmation number. Please keep your confirmation number for your records.

*An additional $3.95 convenience fee will be applied for payments over $300 and increments of $300 thereafter.
