To qualify, you must be an ALP electric customer. To apply, fill out the application form and submit to ALP with a copy of your invoice, UPC code, and ENERGY STAR logo from the packaging. Download our Application Form for more details.

Water Customers of ALP Utilities

New Rate Adjustment Effective, July 1, 2014

The Alexandria Board of Public Works has approved a water rate adjustment of 5%, effective July 1, 2014. This rate adjustment was implemented now to reduce the existing deficiency in present rates as a result of numerous frozen water lines this past winter and spring, as well as meet increasing costs for water operations and maintenance. Annual Water Quality Report

ALP is required to provide a Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) to our customers. This report is also known as an annual water quality report or drinking water quality report. The CCR summarizes information regarding water resources used (i.e., rivers, lakes, reservoirs, or aquifers), any detected contaminants, compliance and educational information on contaminants.
